Are you concerned for finding a job after your postdoc? Do you think holding a PhD degree makes the job search even harder? Then you can’t miss the opportunity to hear about the BNF program in Switzerland!
BNF is a Swiss qualification program aimed at high qualified unemployed people to open up professional perspectives. The program offers temporary projects that are specific to the participant’s needs, and a support package of expert advice, complementary training and personal coaching.
Dr Alexander Noel, from BNF Lausanne, will give us a presentation on the October 25th, at 16h30, consisting of two parts. First, Dr Noel will explain what we have to do, if really needed, to register as an unemployed to the ORP (Office Regional de Placement), a pre-requisite to participate in the BNF Program. Then, he will address all you need to know about the program itself, and how to apply once you have reached the end of your contract.
Target audience: PhDs and postdocs at the end of their contracts, or anyone else interested
When: Thursday, October 25th at 16h30
After the talk, you are invited to join an apero from 17h30 to 19h00, where you will have the chance to personally discuss with Dr. Noel. For organizational purposes, please register for both the talk and the apero at https://doodle.com/poll/gfywc8kidb7if29z
You can find more information about the BNF program on: http://www.bnf.ch/.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!
Pamela and Antonio, on behalf of the SV Postdoc Association.
