FameLab Lausanne 2016, March 31st, 2016 (UniverCité, Chemin du Closel 5, 1020 Renens)

The regional heat of FameLab Switzerland 2016 took place on the 31st of March at  UniverCité

The event was moderated by Dr. Adria Leboeuf (The Catalyst) and the jury was composed of:

Dr. Ksenia Tugay Director of Innovation and Startup development, Inartis Foundation

Alan Vonlanthen Founding partner at Big Bang Science Communication

Prof. Thierry Buclin Chief of PCL, CHUV and Prof at FBM, UNIL

Ten amazing participants talked for 3 minutes about their scientific work:

  6. Kathrin Garschall. Staying young while getting old FINALIST
  7. Benoîte Bargeton. Flies do Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll
  8. Elena Menietti. Of bacteria and men
  9. Vitalijs Zubkovs. Science can change life stories
  10. Roel Bevers: Matching Genomes. Why Details Matter

The finalists won a masterclass in communication at CERN and will compete in the Zurich final on the 19 May, 2016 – 7.30 PM BQM, Leonhardstrasse 34, Zurich
