  • Post-doc fellowship opportunities workshop

Summary of workshop
This workshop will present the tools regrouping funding opportunities for PhDs and post-docs in life sciences to pursue an academic career in Switzerland or abroad. These tools also include contribution to attend symposiums or publications for instance. This will be a hands-on workshop so bring your computer and think of a few keywords!

The instructor
Dr. Claire Arnold has been the development manager and deputy to the Vice-Rector in charge of research and international relations at the University of Lausanne since 2011. In this position she has had extensive experience in conducting workshops and courses related to funding opportunities in Switzerland and abroad. In her previous positions she coordinated and managed large scientific networks such as the NCCR and was also a group leader at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. Prior to this she was a post-doc in the afore mentioned institute and had also undertaken a post-doc at the Centre for Plant Conservation Genetics at the Southern Cross University in Australia. She obtained her PhD in Life Sciences at the University of Neuchâtel.
